It began innocently enough, I happened upon a very sexy picture of a woman in silk panties that I really liked. I don't want to get into the whole vegetarian/animal rights debate - I am not a vegan or vegetarian, but I eat very little meat. So I sympathize with PETA's cause, but I am by no means an extremist and certainly don't sit in judgement of other's diets. So enough said about that.
The more interesting issue to me is the refusal of NBC to run this ad during the Superbowl. Now I can understand that it would have stirred up controversy (which I think was the whole point) but honestly, is there anything in this ad you haven't seen on television before? Even during the day?
Americans are so uptight about sex. Really, if you're turned on by this, you already understand sexuality. I have kids and would have no problem explaining to them that these women REALLY like vegetables, and it's meant to be funny how much they like their veggies.

It's Astounding... Time Is Fleeting...

...it must be that time of year again! Halloween, the best time of year to catch "The Rocky Horror Picture Show".
There's nothing better than watching Susan Sarandon, Tim O'Brien and the gang

In my neck of the woods, the Velvet Darkness (of Madison, Wisconsin) put on a great show. The "Rocky Horror Picture Show", for the completely clueless out there, is a cult classic film, usually shown as a midnight movie. It was the film version of a hit musical, and it is a satire of the classic monster and Sci-Fi movies like "Dracula" and "Plan 9 From Outer Space". The catch is that the writer (Richard O'Brian) understood that society feared sexual deviancy as much as monsters. Therefore, the "monster" in this film is a transvestite Dr. Frankenstein from another planet... and it works.
If you've never seen the film before, Frank N. Furter is highly disturbing and creepy.
Once you've seen the film, you realize how harmless and fun the whole thing is.
Alot like sex itself, come to think of it... but in any case, it's a blast, it's naughty, it's hilarious and never grows old.
Go see it this halloween at a midnight showing near you. I am, and I can't wait... I'm shivering with antici...

I can't believe it's been over a week since my last post, time slipped past pretty fast!
Not to worry, my enthusiasm for sexy underthings has not waned, nor has my desire to write,
I've just been a little busy with real-world things. It's nice to be back in my escape place...
So I wanted to invite you to post a description and/or picture of your favorite pair

Personally, I am not a fan of thongs. Uncomfortable, sure, but also less character and style.
On a woman (or man, I guess) with a perfect posterior they look great, but very few of us have
a perfect one. I prefer briefs, myself, and on others.
The "high - cut" or "french - style", where the leg hole rises up near - but not
connecting with - the waistband is my style of choice. The picture is an example of what I mean.
Also, for some reason I prefer colorful panties with designs on them as opposed to plain white or even black.
Texture is important as well, silk being my favorite.
All of which is not to say that a pair of white cotton thong panties aren't sexy - they sure can be.
In my past the sexiest pair were an old girlfriend's silk, elaborately designed with a light pink

Pay Sites - Tips and Warnings

The Inrnet is swamped with sexual sites that are "Pay Sites". You know, you click on a link that promises "Hot Babes Wearing Silk Panties" (well, okay, maybe you don't, but I do) and you get a sites with a "JOIN NOW!" logo on it for a site that clearly promises more than it can deliver. "Billions of Hot Lesbians want to show you their boobs on a webcam NOW!" ...yeah, I clicked on that one, too.
Some of these sites might be legitimate, satisfying archives of niche pornography, but more often than not, they are a complete rip-off.
One very common scam is the recurring charge. If you forget you joined a site, it charges your credit card every month until you decide to quit and find the right link or e-mail address to tell the site. That's partly your fault for getting drunk and horny, and using your credit card where you shouldn't. Don't look at me, though, I never pulled that one. The trick is to set up a Paypal account (they're free, by the way) and transfer some money into it... but only the amount you want to get charged. If you join a site that's $30 a month, put that amount in your account and that way even if you forget about the membership, they will only be able to get one fee out of you. I use this method of payment anytime I buy over the net from a seller I am not familiar with.
Another Pay Site scam is to get a membership fee from you for a very small collection of content. Be wary of sites that don't specify the amount of content they have to offer.
The most annoying thing I've run into has got to be the pop-ups that appear, keep appearing, and overrun your desktop so your computer won't function. You MUST click here to continue.... well, I just reboot at that point. A good popup blocker is essential to web surfing these days. Personally I use a freeware one called "PopStop", and so far it works pretty well.
So, fellow perusers of Porn, any tips and tricks to share? Any good or bad experiences with Pay Sites? I can't highly recommend any, and the scams I've run into are long gone. It's been a long time since I paid to join a web site, and I'm in no hurry to. However feel free to share your luck with us.

Alright. It's very early in the morning, I'm alone and horny, and thinking about sexual fantasies.

What I Hope To Accomplish... Not Just Navel-Gazing

It seems a fair question why I would bother to do a site like this. The truth is I am fascinated with sexuality and psychology. I am also interested in my own psychology, that is, I am struggling to figure out my own identity, sexual and otherwise - I believe we all are. Sexuality - even among the closet of friends - is, at best, a sensitive and difficult area to discuss honestly.

I guess you could say I am navel-gazing... and that's fair, I guess, although it'd be more accurate to say I was gazing a little lower. I publish these thoughts on the web for my own benefit - as if talking it out with a psychiatrist. I may accept advertising in the future, and I accept donations (see below) because I am aware that sexual discussion attracts a lot of "hits". I am hoping the money, if any, generated by this will help me have more time and resources to enrich and maintain the site and keep it going, but I am not looking to make a ton of money off of this. My goal is honesty, not commercial interests. Perhaps my honesty will be a comfort to others that they are not as unusual as they thought, perhaps I will encourage some further thought on sexual psychology, or perhaps I will just be amusing some folks who want to laugh at what a freak I am. If the worst I do is give a few folks some laughs at my expense, so be it. I hope you enjoy it, whatever form that takes.

Today I stumbled upon an very good article by Regina Sewell on a site called Suite 101 that seems pretty interesting. She discusses the cultural, psychological and gender-political ramifications of panties. No, really, it's not just me that takes this stuff seriously!

You can read it here.
She does a great job summing up the menstration and 'granny panties' thing - how a woman's period can ruin a good pair, so women tend to keep a few older, comfortable 'granny panties' handy for that time of the month. She also has some interesting thoughts on how panties are both sexual and suppress sexuality, which I find a fascinating conundrum.
She further talks about how some men are repulsed by menstration, the natural process a woman's reproductive organs endure every month, and the misogyny that develops from it. I find it terrible that society encourages women to be ashamed of their periods, and men to be "grossed-out" by them, the two attitudes feeding each other. Sewell believes this to be a seed for rapist mentality, this misogynist hatred of women's bodies. Perhaps she is right, although I doubt it's quite that simple of a connection - I suspect much more goes into a rapist's disdain of women's bodies and lack of empathy for other people (and women in particular) but it may be one place it starts.
I find it obvious, but I suppose it should be said for the men reading this that may be warped in the head in that way: menstration is normal, natural and a wonderful thing. Women's bodies, and men's as well, are complicated natural functioning machines that are scientifically astounding. If you find the concept of femininty threatening, or women's bodies to be disgusting, I have no time for you - grow up and re-examine your concepts about life. And that goes for most churches collectively as well, by the way.
Okay, even I never suspected this blog would get so heavy and serious. No regrets, though, I think it's important to talk about these things.

Some of the lists there are for AVS (Age Verification Service) sites - that is, you have to register with - and usually pay - an age verification site. If protecting our children from sexual imagery is really so crucial, why aren't these Age Verification services free? Usually you have to pay a monthly fee to have your age verified. The answer, as we net-vets know, is that most of these "services" are simply a racket. They are interested in making money and not "protecting" anybody. They are merely cover-charge collecting bouncers at a club - and as such, remember the drinks are not already paid for when you get in. Paying for access through a AVS usually doesn't make you a member of any adult site. There's an additional fee for that, of course. I'm sure there are legit, useful age verification systems out there somewhere... but I have yet to find a reputable one. Anyone care to comment on that?
My advice to internet newbies is to never pay to "join" any site until you've poked around the net for a good long time and know exactly what you're getting into.
In the meantime, enjoy the pics you find there.....

Here's a web site that has popped up on many blogs and humor sites, and caused some controversy and discussion. It is hilarious, sexy, disturbing, and disgusting depending on how you feel about crossdressing. My own opinion is that crossdressing is fun and a perfectly fine (if unusual) way of expressing yourself.
Are the men who wear panties sissies? I suppose that label applies, but what's wrong with sissies? A man who has and expresses his feminine side is (in my experience) a better and more grounded person than most of the macho "manly men" I know. Are men who wear panties funny? I think so. It's both funny and sexy to me, being a lover of panties. I know there are a lot of men and women who would "run screaming" from a man who was wearing panties. I don't know what they're afraid of. A man in a dress, or panties, or whatever feminine attire is no threat to you unless you're afraid of his sexual attraction. If women in boxer shorts don't disturb you, what's the difference? Incidentally, I love that fashion trend, women wearing men's boxers as shorts. Very sexy, girls!
Of course, I'm not talking about homosexuality or transgender issues here, I'm talking about crossdressing. I suspect most people who are offended or afraid of the thought of a man wearing women's clothes don't know the difference. I have no time for sexually ignorant folks. Grow up, mature, accept that not everyone has the same sexual desires you do, and that yours are perverted as well, you just supress, deny, hide or consider "normal" your own sexual desires. Those of you judging, I ask you - is there anything normal and natural about oral sex? It is not for reproduction, certainly can be viewed as "disgusting", and yet is perfectly acceptable to most everyone who is not a strict-religious-sex-is-for-reproduction-type. And if you're one of those, the fact that you're reading this tells me you're repressing something pretty kinky...
So at this point you're probably wondering... what's your deal? Do you wear panties or what?
I love panties - especially on women. But not just on women. As far as my sexuality, I don't like to define myself that way. I guess I'm bisexual - as I believe most people are, to some extent - although I have very little in the way of homosexual experiences. I don't "identify" as a transvestite, either, as I do not feel more comfortable dressed as a woman, which I assess to be one definition. I do occasionally dress up in women's clothes, and it is a turn-on, sometimes. I guess you could say I am a sporadic crossdresser. I wear panties under my normal male clothing more often, like a couple times a month, when I'm feeling particularly horny. I don't care what anyone else defines that as, I view it as I'm kinky. Deal with it, or don't.
